The Kent based construction group of companies, Cardy have extended and consolidated their partnership with Kent County Cricket Club.
The Group announced the two year extension today, confirming their position as Major Sponsor of the County’s CB40 One Day team. The term mirrors Cardy’s other partnership with Kent Cricket, as the collar sponsor on the LV= County Championship shirt.
Commenting on the extension, Cardy Contracts Director, Michael Stannard noted; “we have formed a wonderful partnership with Kent Cricket, which has grown well beyond the link to the redevelopment programme. We have already enjoyed many memorable days of cricket, and excellent hospitality. This extension of our sponsorship agreement reinforces our commitment to local sport and the exciting future that lies ahead for Kent County Cricket Club.”
Kent Cricket CEO, Jamie Clifford commented on the partnership; “in challenging times it is very encouraging to have current partners, and a local company, extending the length and breadth of their relationship with the Club. The team at Cardy have been outstanding partners in the redevelopment of the St Lawrence Ground and their commercial support is helping us to develop a solid financial base.”
The new contract covers the 2012 and 2013 playing seasons.
